Superintendent is a good pick for the long haul - you'll want the extra heal when you get to Roon - but that's so far off that I recommend Demolition Expert instead. There are almost no good Level 3 skills, unfortunately. AR is simply a better place to invest points for the long haul, unless you want to re-train your captain. Additionally, if you move that captain up with you into Tier V and Tier VI, the triple 150 turrets turn quick enough that EM is of minimal benefit. Allow me to offer an alternate opinion: for my first 10 points that low in the line ( Karlsruhe through Nurnberg), I would recommend Priorty Target, Adrenaline Rush, Demolition Expert, and Concealment Expert.įor starters, Karlsruhe won't get a lot of benefit from Expert Marksman. Once you start getting your points past 10 is where you get the chance to build your ship the way you want to a point.Ĭoncealment Expert (must) some good advice here. Superintendent (you can also use Demo Expert here) I am going to list what I would recommend and use (there will definitely be variations). You start off with ships that are light cruiser caliber, get the Yorck with its unique gun size and then you get the standard 203mms. So the German cruiser line is quite interesting in progression while you move through the middle tiers. Please let me know if you have other suggestions to consider. Should I just ignore that message and continue with SI? Also, was thinking CE for my 4th skill. Most skills I've seen for the German cruisers use SI for the 3rd skill. I was going to do Superintendent 3rd but there is a line through it with the message "the skill is inefficient with the ship's selected configuration". I started with Priority Target and Expert Marksman. I have a Captain with 10 points that I'm using for the German cruiser line.
